Dublin, Ireland – On May 6, 2026, GEPLEADER announced that the complete power equipment it supplied for the Kilshane 300MW gas-fired power plant in Dublin, Ireland, has officially passed final acceptance and received the Final Acceptance Certificate. This marks another milestone delivery for GEPLEADER in Europe's high-end power market.

The Kilshane gas power plant is located in northern Dublin, less than one kilometer from the coastline. The project is invested and constructed by Ireland's state-owned electricity company ESB. Due to its nearshore location with extremely high salt spray concentrations in the air, the project imposed stringent requirements on corrosion resistance and protection ratings of all electrical equipment – far exceeding conventional standards.

In this project, GEPLEADER undertook the supply of complete power equipment, including the diesel generator set.

Facing the unique challenges of the nearshore environment, GEPLEADER's technical team leveraged 3D modeling and collaborative engineering to overcome each technical hurdle. The most groundbreaking achievement was the successful implementation of the IP65 protection rating. By redesigning the airflow architecture and adopting a multi-layer sealed air intake and exhaust system with labyrinth structures, combined with motorized louver design, GEPLEADER successfully achieved the IP65 protection rating.

Additionally, to meet the project's high requirements, the generator set was equipped with a fire protection sprinkler system. In the event of a fire, the system can rapidly activate sprinklers to protect the equipment. The successful implementation of this technology marks a significant technical breakthrough for GEPLEADER.

On May 6, 2026, the project officially passed final acceptance. All equipment supplied by GEPLEADER passed the joint acceptance inspection by the owner and supervision team on the first attempt, earning high recognition from Ireland's state-owned electricity company ESB and the main EPC contractor.

The Kilshane power plant is scheduled to commence commercial operation in 2028. Upon completion, it will become an important peaking power source for Ireland's power grid, providing flexible and reliable power support for the country's continued growth in renewable energy. With reliable technical strength and robust equipment quality, GEPLEADER has left an important mark of "Made in China" in Europe's energy transition journey.
