Recently, multiple GEPLEADER generator sets have been deployed to participate in the infrastructure development project of the comprehensive development in downtown Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In the current stage of the 4.6MW project, 2.8MW generator sets are being installed and custom-built to support the new phase of Jeddah's infrastructure development.

Fast Delivery

The project took only 14 working days from order placement and design to delivery at the port. Starting from February 21 when the order was placed and production was scheduled, it went through design review by designers, round-the-clock assembly work by the workers, and stringent testing by quality inspectors before leaving the factory. By March 10, the equipment successfully arrived at the port, taking only 14 days. This 14-day timeline highlights GEPLEADER's rapid delivery speed for overseas orders, saving time costs for the client, enabling quick deployment, and accumulating valuable experience for securing future mega-project orders.

Customized Solution

The comprehensive infrastructure development project in downtown Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is located on the western coast of Jeddah. The construction scope includes municipal pipelines, electrical systems, road construction, and more. In response to the high safety and environmental standards and the instability of external power supply voltage, GEPLEADER developed an appropriate power supply solution. In the first phase, GEPE500Y and GEPE400Y units were deployed to provide 4.6MW of power support for the project.

In conditions where the external power voltage is highly unstable, the generator units can operate smoothly, reliably, and efficiently. Given the climate conditions in Saudi Arabia, the units have been optimized, especially the cooling system, to meet the needs of end users for long-term use in extreme environments such as high temperatures and intense sunlight.

Once completed, the project will become a new coastal destination in Jeddah, creating a new central area for the city while providing comprehensive solutions for the commercial sector. It will have a profound impact on the development of Jeddah’s economy, culture, sports, and entertainment. The core of the project, the Jeddah Central Destination, is scheduled to open in 2027 and will become a new landmark for tourism in Jeddah.
